90' Tweezers
Description
First, it was Nippas, then the hook file, now we are bringing our innovative style to the tweezer. Why? For the last couple of years we have been using the early prototype versions of the tweezers when we assemble our Lippa4Life. There is a small compression spring that goes into each L4L, and placing them with the existing models was a tedious pain. We modified a few with a real 90' angle, and then kept adding Bondo onto the thin handles until we had a proper thumb control platform. The end result was tweezers that worked perfectly, and not surprisingly worked well for multiple fly tying and stream-side applications.
If you are not satisfied with your Rising gear you can return it for replacement or refund within 4 months of purchase.. New unused gear with original packaging can be returned anytime for full refund.. Rising does not cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents.

Depredation (AKA The Tax Man)
Depredation happens when a predator targets a fish that is tired, disoriented, or slow to recover. Anglers often see it with sharks eating hooked bonefish or tarpon, but the more common version occurs after release when a weakened fish cannot swim away quickly enough. Extended air exposure and exhaustion make released fish vulnerable. Using a net to shorten the fight, keep the fish wet, and support proper recovery gives it the strength it needs to escape predators once it swims out of your hands.

Catch and release is only part of the story. What matters most is how the fish returns to the river. Catch & Care is about landing fish quickly, keeping them in the water, and handling them gently so they can recover and swim away strong. Small choices in the moment make a big difference for the fish and for the rivers we love.

A deeper basket allows the fish to settle, remain upright, and stay submerged while stress levels drop and oxygen balance returns. By reducing thrashing, air exposure, and instability, the right basket depth supports faster recovery and a stronger swim away after release.
